Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrival Kathmandu(1330m), Transfer to Hotel

Namaste! We welcome you to the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. Kathmandu is an incredible city with Temples and Heritage sites in almost every nook and corner. Given the time, you can stroll around Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar Square before we meet for the paper works and documentation for the preparation of our trek starting the next day. Upon Arrival at the TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport), Kathmandu, our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu.

    • Place: Kathmandu
    • Altitude: 1400m
  • Day 2 Flight: Kathmandu to Lukla (2860m); 25 Minutes , Trekking: Lukla to Phakding (2650m)

The only way to travel to Lukla today from Kathmandu is to fly morning.

You wake up earlier than usual, dress, and meet with your guide in the courtyard. The trip from Kathmandu to Lukla would be only half an hour-long, but it really is spectacular.

Breathtaking Himalayan panoramas, lush greenery, and landscapes will welcome you during the voyage. Lukla is a small highland settlement that offers the starting and finishing points for Everest treks.

You'll go through a multitude of little villages, footbridges, and beautiful vegetation meadows on your approach there. In this charming location, there are also several requirements for elevated hotels and bars.

    • Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
    • Accommodation: Lodge(tea house)
    • Place: Phakding
    • Altitude: 2650m
  • Day 3 Trekking: Trek to Namche Bazar(3440m)

On the second day, having a nice breakfast, you'll go over to Namche Bazaar, one of the largest relaxation spots in the region.

The path includes important ascending and high climbing through a lush forest, as well as river crossings on shaking footbridges.

You'll form a relationship with the vista of golden mountains at night after a long day walk after settling in Namche Bazaar. Believe me when I guarantee that the scenery will be simply gorgeous! You'll be obliged to worry about your discomfort.

    • Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
    • Accommodation: Lodge(tea house)
    • Place: Namche Bazar
    • Altitude: 3440m
  • Day 4 Acclamatization and Day hike: Namche Bazar to Everest View Hotel (3880m)

It's a smart idea to go for a quick acclimatization jog to enable your body to adapt to the higher elevation. You could either walk to Khunde Hospital, a health center built by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1966, or undertake a one-hour hike upward above Namche to the Everest View Hotel. Schedule your hike to overlap with sunset panoramas of the Khumbu's gigantic mountains, including AmaDablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest. And there's a stunning view from the National Park Center, which also has a public museum on the Khumbu region's culture and traditions.

    • Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
    • Accommodation: Lodge(tea house)
    • Place: Namche Bazazar
    • Altitude: 3440m
  • Day 5 Trek to Tengboche(3890m)

Spending two nights in Namche, it's time to pack your belongings and continue your trek to Tengboche. For a good section of the trek, you'll have breathtaking glimpses of the Everest mountain chain including AmaDablam. Breathtaking views are hard to defeat on a clear day, but this is one of my favorite portions of the rest of the trip.

The trail will become harder as it proceeds, regardless of the fact that it is an extraordinarily gorgeous route. So rather than getting higher up the mountain near Tengboche, the trail will dip to the valley level via uneven and rocky terrain.

    • Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
    • Accommodation: Lodge(tea house)
    • Place: Tengboche
    • Altitude: 3890m
  • Day 6 Trek to Dingboche(4400m)

As you stroll through the glacial river and cross by many bitter cold mountains, the hike from Tengboche to Dingboche would be extremely picturesque. You'll also pass via Pangboche village, which is renowned for Mount AmaDablam.

Putting Tengboche back, you first climb the pathways into the jungle, traveling via Deboche, a tiny town. Another place to stay overnight when trekking in the Everest region would be this village.

As you proceed on, you will cross into Shomare, the very last settlement before Dingboche. The track will take you around the valley and even across another wooden bridge once you get near to Dingboche.

    • Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
    • Accommodation: Lodge(tea house)
    • Place: Dingboche
    • Altitude: 4400m
  • Day 7 Acclimatization and Day hike in Dingboche

A great location to acclimatize is Dingboche. As earlier noted, these days are held not really for rest but to help your body to adjust to the current height.

Visitors could ascend the Nagarjuna Hills, which are at an altitude of 5050 meters, on your relaxation day in Dingboche. Overlooking Dingboche, this site is located on the edges of a hill. The breathtaking sight of Taboche Peak, Thamserku, Lobuche west, AmaDablam, Lobuche east, and Kangtega could be seen after a 3- to 4-hour climb.

    • Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner
    • Accommodation: Lodge(tea house)
    • Place: Dingboche
    • Altitude: 4400m
  • Day 8 Trek to Lobuche (4910m)

On the seventh day, the trail rises a short walk before emerging to a meadow area.

The Lobuche pass is accessible after negotiating the bridge from Thukla to Thukla. You'll be seeing a graveyard area with dozens of stone memorials for all those who died on the mountain, along with various colors of prayer flags, and KhaganChorten.

Aside from that, Lobuche delivers some magnificent mountain views. A high-altitude research organization could also support communication for the rescue mission.

    • Meals: Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner

    • Place: Lobuche
    • Altitude: 4910m
  • Day 9 Trek to GorakShep(5180m) and visit Everest Base Camp(5180m)

The important day has already come, and you'll be exploring Everest Base Camp, the trek's star highlight. Before coming there, visitors must hike to GorakShep, the trail's highest town. The journey to Everest Base Camp is split into two segments. In the first section, you stroll to GorakShep, and then in the second, you travel to the foothills of Mount Everest.

A stunning picture of Mount Everest and its neighboring peaks welcomes you as you approached the foot. The perspectives are exciting, and they are special gifts from nature. You wait there a while before heading to GorakShep to snap photos.

You'll journey up to Kala Patthar on the seventh day, early today. The 360 ° Himalayan vista from Kala Patthar, and even the Khumbu Glacier, would be astounding.

Your breath is definitely taken away once you reached the Kala Patthar vantage point!

In fact, you'll be fortunate to see Mt. Everest right up close yet again.

After you've had your taste of the mountains, proceed to GorakShep and then descend to Pheriche. Another magnificent valley flanked by rugged hills and mountains is Pheriche.

  • Day 11 Trek to Namche Bazar(3440m)

You'll return to Namche Bazaar on the eighth day. You'll approach the trees line again after tracing the DudhKoshi River and bringing it back on the same trail.

You'll pass across rhododendron and pine trees until traversing the suspension bridge again. A superb backdrop of breathtaking mountain views awaits you here. The path continues past various Mani stones, Chortens, as well as Stupas.

  • Day 12 Trek to lukla

As you will descend to Lukla soon, your time in the Everest region is almost to a conclusion. Visitors check out of the lodge and force their way down through the step stones after only a tasty breakfast.

After roughly half an hour of hiking, you emerge at a stoplight spot by crossing the paths. Here, you could see Mount Everest for the last time. Proceed hiking downhill until you reach a mud and rock route.
