Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary

Annapurna Base camp trek popularly known as the ABC trek is one of the most popular trekking route in Nepal. Along the trail there are numerous local villages with their own unique residents going about their lives following their own cultures and customs. Besides, the trail is goes thorough different terrains with unique vegetations and landscapes as we head along. With unmatched natural beauty and breathtaking Mountain ranges from Mt. Annapurna to Mt. Macchapuchre(Fishtail), the trek is truly a great representation of the wholesome Nepal.

  • Day 1 Arrival Kathmandu

    Namaste! We welcome you to the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. Kathmandu is an incredible city with Temples and Heritage sites in almost every nook and corner. Given the time, you can stroll around Thamel and Kathmandu Durbar Square before we meet for the paper works and documentation for the preparation of our trek starting the next day. Upon Arrival at the TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport), Kathmandu, our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Drive to Pokhara (820m)

    We'll drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara on this day. Along the drive, we'll transit through several rural settlements and towns, with panoramas of snow-capped peaks. Pokhara is among the Himalayan south slope's very well valleys. It holds the finest of Himalayan attractiveness in its surroundings, especially including 3 gorgeous lakes: Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa. You will spend the night in Pokhara.

  • Day 3 Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Thikedhunga

    On this day, you will drive to Nayapul via private vehicle which takes around 45 minutes from the gorgeous valley, Pokhara. Then, you will hike for around 4/5 hours to reach the small village, Tikhedhunga for the night.

  • Day 4 Trek to Ghorepani

    We start our trek early, aiming for Ghorepani, under one of the toughest days of the hike. The track continues its upward trek more toward the settlement of Ulleri, beginning where we left off. The rugged ascending stairs heading to Ulleri are relatively hard and will take a lot of time to accomplish. We continue our trek to Ghorepani for the overnight, pausing at Ulleri for a well-deserved break. Ghorepani is a well-known Gurung community featuring spectacular scenery of the Annapurna massif of the Himalayas.

  • Day 5 View Sunrise from Poon Hill and Trek to Tadapani

    The day commences including an early hours excursion to Poon High's hillcrest for a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise. The impressive heights of Annapurna South (7,219 m), Annapurna I (8,091 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Annapurna III (7,555 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), and Machhapuchhre (6,997 m) are accessible across the frontier, offering a breathtaking Himalayan backdrop for anyone to admire. We descend to Ghorepani for only a delicious Himalayan breakfast before actually going off towards the village of Tadapani, watching the Himalayan sunrise. The trip is enjoyable, touching via Sikha and Banthanti along the approach. A further stopover on the route is Tadapani, which is a large community of Gurung ethnic communities.

  • Day 6 Trek to Sinuwa

    Admire the sunrise view of several mountains and low areas of the walking early today. The trek begins with a downhill to the river and thereafter steadily moves up to Gurjung and Chhomrong communities. It is a gorgeous place with rugged mountains as well as lush greenery where the villagers can grow a variety of foods and veggies. Visitors can even see the Hot Spring from here, but you really should return across.

  • Day 7 Trek to Deurali

    This would be a lengthy day, and it will be a magnificent hike through the forest to Deurali. After an hour of attempting to climb to Upper Sinuwa, the path takes to Bamboo village across Wood, Rhododendron, Pine, forest, plus panoramas of Machhapuchare. All of the paths continue to Dovan with the same perspective, thereafter gently ascend to Himalaya Hotel before heading to Deurali.

  • Day 8 Trek to Annapurna Base Camp

    After leaving Deurali, the trail continues up through the glacier mountains towards Machhapuchhre Base Camp, which itself is located at an altitude of 3700 meters. Because climbing the mountain is restricted, this is the highest you can get from Machhapuchhre (6,997 m). Macchapuchhre Base Camp is the place where we’ll be taking rest for some minutes then slowly trek back to ABC. Then when you've arrived at base camp, you're open to exploring the nearby areas and taking in the gorgeous Himalayan panorama.

  • Day 9 Trek back to Sinuwa

    Witness the sunrise across Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna South (7229m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna III (7555m), Gangapurna (7454m), & Machhapuchhare (7454m) in the morning hours, we will hike interacting about the history of those mountain on the way. The beauty of the sun hugging the peaks will take your breath away. Grab your camera out and photograph beautiful stunning mountains.

  • Day 10 Trek to Sinuwa and Drive to Pokhara

    This is the day when we walk towards Choomrong and again hike to the natural hot spring, Jhinu Danda. Following, we will cross a long suspension bridge. Almost after walking for about 2 hours, we will reach Siwai from there drive back to Pokhara with amazing scenery, a ridge, a waterfall, amazing villages, and vegetation.

  • Day 11 Drive to Kathmandu

    This is the final day of your trek therefore, you will drive back to Kathmandu early in the morning either by Tourist bus or private vehicle.
