Given the option to undertake this path is a time for celebration! This is one of many ambitions on so many people's travel destinations. In addition, Lonely Planet, the largest and most popular magazine publisher, has selected the Everest Base Camp Trip as the world's fourth outstanding trek.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp also offers us the ability to join Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay on an incredible adventure that began in 1953. On an adventure trek package that also comprises ascending Kala Patthar to see the beautiful scenery of Everest and certain other Himalayas, our guide will drive us toward the base camp of the world's tallest peak, Everest.

We see incredible mountain vistas, get quite a view through into the lives of world-famous mountain climbers (the Sherpas), discover Sagarmatha National Park, UNESCO - Listed, and explore elevated Buddhist temples on our 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek. A vacation at Namche Bazaar for a couple of nights offers appropriate acclimatization and pleasurable hiking experiences.

With 12 days of traveling at high elevations, rugged routes, and some very steep terrain, the Everest Base Camp Trek is undoubtedly a challenge. Trekkers get true lifetime experience whenever they ascend to the base camp of the world's tallest mountain.

You'll pass through unique Sherpa settlements, spectacular scenery, gorgeous meadows, and various suspension bridges along the trek. Chaurikharka, Chheplung, Nachipang, and Koshigaun are some of the famous localities bordering Lulka and Phakding.

As you go down the paths, you'll notice that you're flanked by exceedingly lofty mountain peaks, most of which are over 6000 meters tall. We will enter Sagarmatha National Park as we resume our trip, where we should register our permits for an upcoming adventure.

Tips & Ideas

When to go?

Because of the sunny and warm weather, spring and autumn are considered as the best time to explore Everest Base Camp in Nepal. In addition, if you travel in October, you might even be willing to attend the legendary Mani Rimdu festival. Buddhists on Everest celebrates the historical feast for 19 days in monasteries like Tengboche Monastery.

Meanwhile, winter is too chilly for hiking to Everest Base Camp, and indeed the monsoon is too rainy. With layers of cloud in the sky, eyesight is also foggy. As a result, we do not encourage trekking in the late winter or early monsoon seasons.

Trek Difficulty in Everest Base Camp Trek

This elevated trip to Everest Base Camp is a challenging route that would test both physical and mental strength. Although the trip from Lukla to base camp is indeed not theoretically challenging, many travelers that do not allow proper time for acclimatization risk getting sick. Wind chills and constantly changing weather could further increase the challenge of the EBC trip.

Food and Accommodation in Everest Base Camp Trek

This is not a luxurious tour; it is indeed a once-in-a-lifetime chance!

The rooms are usually foundona share basis. With a reasonable fee, hot baths, Wi-Fi, and power supplies are offered. The accommodations are not really nice, yet where else would you glance outside your window into the spectacular Mountain View?

In teahouses along the way, experience authentic Tibetan cuisine (Dal Bhat).

Permits Required For Everest Base Camp Trek

Naturally, permit the Nepalese government to set entry fees to manage the unique beauty that encircles Mt. Everest as well as the other Himalayan peaks.

In Nepal, any national parks demand a permit, and the Sagarmatha National Park does too. Whenever you look at the cost of the permits compared to the total cost of your visit to Nepal and indeed the Everest Region, it is a tiny investment in the future of this gorgeous region with its snow, trees, ice, meadows, and traditions. For Everest Base Camp Trek, you require the following permits:

KhumbuPasangLhamu Rural Municipality Entrance Permit (NPR 2000 per Person)

Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit (NPR 3000 per Person)
