The sunrise from Annapurna Base Camp itself was unforgettable, with the peaks glowing golden in the morning light. It felt like being in the middle of a natural amphitheater of mountains. Hikers Haven managed everything perfectly. The teahouses were comfortable, the meals hearty, and our guide was knowledgeable and always encouraging. For those with limited time who still want a true Himalayan adventure, this 8-day trek is the perfect choice.

I recently completed the Everest Base Camp Trek – 15 Days by road with Hikers Haven, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Traveling by road instead of flying to Lukla gave us a chance to see the countryside and enjoy a more gradual introduction to the trek. The drive was long but scenic, and it made the journey feel more adventurous and rewarding. The trek itself was absolutely breathtaking. My Jomsom Muktinath Trek with Hikers Haven was an incredible journey that combined both natural beauty and spiritual significance. The trek through the Kali Gandaki Valley was stunning, with dramatic landscapes, windy gorges, and views of Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. Walking past apple orchards and traditional Thakali villages gave the trek a very unique charm compared to other routes in Nepal. The highlight for me was reaching Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The atmosphere there was truly special, and it felt meaningful to share the space with pilgrims from all over Nepal and India. Hikers Haven arranged everything seamlessly – from transportation to accommodations – and our guide was knowledgeable about both the culture and the mountains. This trek was the perfect mix of adventure and cultural discovery, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a moderate trek with a rich experience.

Trekking the Manaslu Circuit was one of the most intense experiences of my life—beautiful, humbling, and at times downright brutal. I went into it expecting a grand adventure filled with stunning views and self-discovery. I got that… and then some. What truly made the difference, though, was our guide Ganesh.

From the very start, Ganesh was calm, knowledgeable, and always had our backs—especially when things didn’t go according to plan (which happens a lot at 16,000+ feet!). Whether it was snowstorms, altitude sickness, or just tough terrain, he knew exactly how to keep the group moving safely and confidently. When I got really sick and was close to my breaking point, Ganesh stepped in without hesitation. He literally carried my pack up the final stretch of the pass so I could keep going. I’ll never forget that.

Beyond the logistics, he’s just a great human—kind, patient, and genuinely fun to be around. His deep knowledge of the route, the culture, and the people made the whole trek feel more connected and meaningful.

If you're considering doing the Manaslu Circuit (or any trek in Nepal), having a guide like Ganesh will take your experience to another level. I wouldn’t have made it through without him—and I wouldn’t want to. Highly recommend.
