Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From here, you trek to Namche Bazar via Phakding. The trail will take you to the Tengboche monastery, built in 1916 by Lama Gulu. This is the oldest and the biggest monastery in the Khumbu region with huge importance.

Extra nights in Kathmandu

Let us know beforehand if you want to spend extra nights in Kathmandu. We will arrange the accommodation on time for you. There will be an additional charge for that. The cost can range anywhere from 55.00 USD or more per night per person (including breakfast and airport transfer). If you want, we will arrange adventurous activities to make the most out of your stay in Kathmandu. Accommodation

In Kathmandu, you stay in a luxurious 5-star hotel. You will get to enjoy all the modern services. The room will be spacious, clean, and modern. You get breakfast with a welcome dinner and farewell dinner in Kathmandu. While during the trek, you stay overnight in the best possible lodge. The rooms will be big and beautiful with many modern amenities. As this is a luxurious trek, you get to enjoy all the extravagance perks that the Khumbu region has to offer. For meals, you will have three meals a day. You get to choose from a variety of dishes ranging from Nepali, Indian, and Tibetan to Continental cuisines.

Best Season

March to May and September to November

Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) are the best time to go on Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek. The mild climate and stable weather welcome many trekkers from all around the globe. Similarly, you get to see a range of Himalayan vegetation during spring, whereas in autumn, you can be part of Nepali festivals.

June to August

These are the rainy months in Nepal. Trekking at this time of the year is not advised because of unstable weather and slippery tails. Plus, the flight can get canceled at any time and views are mostly unclear.

December to February

You can go on Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek 11 Days in the winter season, however, it is not recommended. You have to face harsh cold and heavy snowfall, which can result in blockage of the route. Plus, there is a risk of avalanches as well and airports also often get shut down.

Difficulty

Everest Base Camp Luxury Trekking is a moderate trek. If you are a new trekker, then the trail can get a bit tough for you. The route involves many ascends and descends. You have to walk on steep, rugged, and glacial paths as the trek progresses. Therefore, you have to be in good physical condition and health. Altitude Sickness

Altitude sickness or acute mountain sickness is something that you have to be extremely careful of as it can ruin the trip if not handled properly on time. During Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek 11 Days, there is a drastic change in altitude just with one short flight. However, as we have designed our Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek itinerary with ample rest days and maintaining the increase in altitude each day, you will be less likely to be suffering from this illness.

The Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek package includes airport pick up and drop as per the itinerary. Likewise, you will take a thrilling flight to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu in a helicopter from Kala Patthar.

Electricity & Charging Facilities

During the trek, you will find electricity in almost all the villages. Villages also depend on solar power, therefore you might have to pay a few extra bucks to charge electronic devices. Carry spare batteries or solar charge for backup. In Kathmandu, there will be a 24/7 supply of electricity.

Luggage

During the trek, you will pack all the necessities in a duffel bag carried by porters. You will carry a light day pack for essentials like water bottles, electronic devices, cash, snacks, etc. You can leave your extra clothing and other stuff in a lockable suitcase in the hotel's locker room free of charge.

Guide & Crew during Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek

Our experienced and professional guides will be your travel partner during the trek. Our crew members are friendly and have extensive knowledge about the trail. In a group of 8 people or more, there will be an assistant guide as well. Likewise, every two members of the group will get one porter (porters carry around 20 Kg to 22 Kg, 10kg/11kg per person).

If you are underage and want to do Everest Base Camp Luxury Trekking, then you have to trek with an identified guardian. In case you are an active trekker with previous trekking experience, you may get to trek along with crew members. For further information regarding the child policy, contact us anytime. Gratuities/Tips for Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek Crew Members

During the trek, our experienced crew members will accompany you. You will be guided by the best guides and porters in the industry. If you like the service of our crew members, then tipping is highly recommended. The team leader/guide will help you with the tipping at the end of the trek. All the members of the team can tip USD 5 each to the tour guide, USD 2 each to the driver, and USD 100 each to the trek guide (divided between porters & guide).

Personal Expenses on Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek

We advise you to budget around USD 12 to USD 15 per day to spend on the trail for buying snacks and drinks or services like hot showers, WiFi, etc. Depending upon your expense habits, the amount may differ. Also, other personal expenses like shopping are not included in the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek cost.
