  • Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m / 4,593 ft)

    Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our Hikers Haven representative greets you and transfers you to your hotel in Thamel. After check-in, rest and refresh before meeting your climbing guide for a short briefing about the expedition. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali welcome dinner with cultural performances and meet the rest of your climbing crew.

  • Day 02 Fly to Lukla (2,840 m / 9,317 ft) & Trek to Phakding (2,610 m / 8,562 ft)

    Take one of the most thrilling mountain flights in the world to Lukla, the gateway to the Khumbu region. After meeting the porter team, begin an easy trek along the Dudh Koshi River. Pass Mani walls and small Sherpa settlements like Chheplung and Ghat before reaching Phakding, a peaceful riverside village.

  • Day 03 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m / 11,286 ft)

    The trail today follows the Dudh Koshi Valley through pine and rhododendron forests. Cross several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Bridge, and enter Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. The final climb is steep but rewarding as you reach vibrant Namche Bazaar—hub of Sherpa culture, colorful markets, and mountain views.

  • Day 04 Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

    To adapt to the higher altitude, hike up to the Everest View Hotel (3,880 m) for stunning panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. Visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery afterward. Spend the afternoon exploring Namche’s cafés, bakeries, and gear shops, soaking in the lively mountain atmosphere.

  • Day 05 Trek to Tengboche (3,860 m / 12,664 ft)

    Leaving Namche, traverse the scenic ridge above the Dudh Koshi with continuous views of Ama Dablam. Descend to Phunki Tenga, then climb steadily through a fragrant forest of juniper and rhododendron to reach the spiritual heart of Khumbu—the Tengboche Monastery. Attend the monks’ evening chanting and enjoy the backdrop of Everest glowing at sunset.

  • Day 06 Trek to Dingboche (4,410 m / 14,468 ft)

    The morning begins with a descent through fir forest and across the Imja Khola. Pass the picturesque Pangboche village, home to the region’s oldest monastery, and continue across yak pastures and stone-walled fields toward Dingboche. As altitude increases, the vegetation thins, revealing wide alpine landscapes.

  • Day 07 Acclimatization and Day hike in Dingboche(4,410 m / 14,468 ft)

    A great location to acclimatize is Dingboche. As earlier noted, these days are held not really for rest but to help your body to adjust to the current height.

    Visitors could ascend the Nagarjuna Hills, which are at an altitude of 5050 meters, on your relaxation day in Dingboche. Overlooking Dingboche, this site is located on the edges of a hill. The breathtaking sight of Taboche Peak, Thamserku, Lobuche west, AmaDablam, Lobuche east, and Kangtega could be seen after a 3- to 4-hour climb.

  • Day 08 Trek to Lobuche (4,910 m / 16,108 ft)

    Climb gradually up the valley to Dughla (Thukla), where you’ll pause by the memorials dedicated to fallen climbers. Continue over the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to reach the small settlement of Lobuche, set amid towering peaks. The air is thinner here, so keep a steady pace.

  • Day 09 Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m / 17,598 ft) via Gorak Shep (5,164 m / 16,942 ft)

    An early start leads you along the glacial trail to Gorak Shep. After lunch, continue to the legendary Everest Base Camp, walking beside ice pinnacles and rocky moraines. Soak in views of Khumbu Icefall before returning to Gorak Shep for the night.

  • Day 10 Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m / 18,192 ft) & Descend to Dingboche

    Climb pre-dawn to the summit of Kala Patthar for one of the Himalaya’s most iconic sunrises—Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, and Lhotse painted gold by the morning light. After capturing photos, descend for breakfast and retrace your steps down the valley to Dingboche.

  • Day 11 Trek to Chhukung (4,730 m / 15,518 ft)

    A short yet scenic day. Follow the valley eastward along the Lhotse Glacier moraine with views of Ama Dablam and Island Peak ahead. The path climbs gently to Chhukung, a small settlement surrounded by towering peaks—your last village before heading to the high alpine zone.

  • Day 12 Trek to Island Peak Base Camp (5,200 m / 17,060 ft)

    Leaving Chhukung, ascend through glacial moraines and rugged terrain toward the base of Island Peak. The route passes beneath Lhotse’s south face and into a broad valley where the base camp sits beside icy streams. The crew sets up tents, and your guide provides basic mountaineering instruction—use of ropes, harnesses, ice axes, and crampons.

  • Day 13 Summit Island Peak (6,189 m / 20,305 ft) & Return to Chhukung

    Rise around 2 a.m. for your summit push. Climb a rocky gully leading to the snow-covered glacier, traverse crevasses with fixed ropes, and ascend a steep headwall (40–45° slope) to reach the narrow summit ridge. From the top, savor jaw-dropping views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Baruntse, and Ama Dablam. After celebrating briefly, descend carefully back to Chhukung.

  • Day 15 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)

  • Day 17 Fly Back to Kathmandu
