Best Season to do Lower Dolpo Trek

Lower Dolpo Trekking could also be done in the spring and autumn. Throughout that time, everyone will be able to hike in fresh surroundings. The temperature is more favorable in this season than in many others, creating the journey relatively pleasant.

Similarly, Monsoon is also the typically best season to do Lower Dolpo Trek as it runs from June to September. The entire region is in a rain forest, consequently, there isn't much rain in this corner of Nepal.

Accommodation in Lower Dolpo Trek

Permits required to do Lower Dolpo Trek

Lower Dolpo Trek Difficulty

In Upper Dolpo, trekking is known to be difficult. There are also some long hiking days of six hours or above, hard steep inclines, three passes above 5000 meters, many overnights spent above 3500 meters. We require rest days because this is a camping trek, and visitors might walk up to 8-9 hours per day due to which there might be a chance of getting sick during your trek. Physical and mental fitness is compulsory. This is not a hike for newcomers or all those visiting Nepal for the first time. However, professional trekkers and regular trekkers to Nepal will find it to be a rewarding task!
