The easiest way to obtain tourist visa for Nepal is to get it upon arrival at the airport or border checkpoints in case you are coming from India or Tibet. All foreigners traveling to Nepal need visa to enter the country with an exception of Indian nationals. Nepal immigration gives visa to the citizen of most of the countries with the exception of countries like: Nigeria, Ghana, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Cameroon, Swaziland, Iraq, Ethiopia, Liberia, Palestine etc.)

The requirements for getting Nepal visa upon arrival at the immigration/entry point are:

  • A valid passport with the validity of at least six months.
  • Two passport size photos.
  • Visa fee in Cash
