The journey starts once you arrive in Kathmandu. At Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a colleague of our company will greet you and transport you to the hotel in which you will stay the night.
Rara Lake Trek Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1330 m)
Day 2 Half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu (1330 m)
Our tour advisor will greet you in the hotel suite after early breakfast. Our private van will drive you to Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square, among many other places in the valley. You'll be advised about just the journey afterward, and then you'll prepare for it with the help of your trek guide. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (150 m)
Today, we fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, situated in Western Nepal and the largest city in the Terai region. This flight will provide you with breathtaking overhead shots of the jungles but also the Himalayan Mountains. We explore the domestic market after settling into our accommodation in Nepalgunj. Stay in the lodge for the night.
Day 4 Fly from Nepalgunj to Jumla (2540 m)
We travel to Jumla's hilly countryside after breakfast at the hotel. You've emerged in entirely different scenery, as you've landed in Nepal's far-eastern region. Sisne Himal and Dudu Kundari Himal are the mountains that attract tourists and also some nameless mountains could be seen as well.
Day 5 Hike from Jumla to Patmara (2920m)
The trail is straight upon first, however, after a close walk, it continues a steep hill to Patmara. You'll walk via pine trees, lush hills, and attractive villages along the way. Patmara is a rather huge settlement with chortens, prayer flags, Mani walls, plus Hindu god and goddess temples. The Buddhist or Hindu religions are practiced by the residents.
Day 6 Hike from Patmara to Bhargaon (2690m)
During the first two hours, you climb up a steadily climbing road. The paths descend smoothly following traversing Kharila pass (3050m.) until you reach Nyawer settlement (2670m.). Bhargaon is a huge village with monasteries, chortens, and prayer flags that flap in the air.
Day 7 Hike from Bhargaon to Pina (2380m)
The pathways slowly rise eventually you reach a suspension bridge, where you can still cross it. You will travel along the upward track until you reach the Rara National Park checkpoint at Bhulbule (3130m.). In order to enter the National Park, you should first pay an entry charge. The trail to Ghurchi La Pass (3460m) commences with a tough ascent until lowering sharply to Pina.
Day 8 Hike from Pina to Gumgarhi (2580m)
The next day, you'll cross a wooden bridge so over Jhari Khola (stream) & hike largely up. The trail passes downhill in certain areas. Musk deer and pheasant could be seen in the forests, which also are covered with pine, juniper, oak, rhododendron, as well as other ecological plants. Gumgarhi is yet another settlement where Sherpa, Gurung, and certain other ethnicities exist.
Day 9 Hike from Gumgarhi to Rara Lake (3060m)

Day 10 Rest at Rara Lake (3060 m)

Day 11 Hike from Rara Lake to Jhari (2500m)
To get to Jhari, travelers would descend along a gently declining track via forests, crossing the Jhari Khola on a wooden walkway, while passing through settlements. Jhari is a tiny village mostly populated by Gurung individuals who follow a Tibetan culture.
Day 12 Hike from Jhari to Bhargaon (2690m)

Day 13 Hike from Bhargaon to Patmara (2920m)

Day 14 Hike from Patmara to Jumla (2370m)
The next day you hike to Jumla along a steeply-dropping path with amazing scenery of rugged hills, meadows, settlements, and mountain vistas.
Day 15 Fly from Jumla to Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu (1300 m)
You'll fly back to Nepalgunj from Jumla on the day that, early today. After arriving in Nepalgunj, you'll also take a flight back to Kathmandu, Nepal's capital. Following your arrival at the International Airport, you would be transferred to the selected hotel. Mostly in the evening, take a stroll through Thamel, a major tourist attraction nearby. Here you can congratulate your success in completing the Rara Lake Trek. Visitors could also go shopping at the last moment.
Day 16 Departure
The Hikers Heaven Nepal staff will leave you off at Tribhuvan International Airport approximately 3 hours earlier than your flight's booked departure time.
